the drive along rt. 360 west out of Richmond to South Boston, VA, including a drive through of Green Bay (not what we were expecting) was highlighted by these flashes of purple – no idea the tree, but there would be a 500 foot stretch of tree line along the roadside, and there’d be this ONE tree/shrub that was vibrant with color … odd, but I did capture a pic (not a great one, though) – I’ll post soon… also in S. Boston, there’s a firetruck sales lot – WEEEEEEE!!!!
